Where telehealth fits
- The FDA's advice to patients: get a prescription from your doctor and fill it at a state-licensed pharmacy.[1]
- The FDA's warning signs for telehealth sellers include a company that does not require a screening and prescription by a licensed doctor before providing medicine.[2]
- TrumpRx.gov is a place to compare prices: Medicare.gov says you can't buy drugs directly from it.[3]
We do not list, rank or link to telehealth companies, and we do not repeat their price claims. Two more of the FDA's warning signs, word for word:
“makes claims such as the compounded drug is the same as an FDA-approved drug”
“offers medicine at deep discounts or prices that seem too good to be true”
